As many of you know I find great joy in making languages simple to read for folks of all ages. So, this morning I had Big Idea! It might be one of the most challenging so far! Want to hear it? Here goes!
Well, you know that over the centuries and recently, artifacts have been found that help to prove that the events mentioned in the Bible were true. What if your family could read these ancient artifacts in their original languages. I am thinking Sanskrit, Hieroglyphics, and Aramaic- that sort of thing. I would offer a pronunciation guide for each language and then use my simple phonetic sound it our system for key word studies in the portion. Simple enough for a 5 year to read, fulfilling enough for a Mom or Dad to get excited about.
This would be written in a similar style as my "Wholesome Learning," Curriculum, with hands-on fun, discussion questions, drawing, and more!
Think how confident your child will feel explaining these artifacts to seeker friends and skeptics, after having read them in their original languages. Think how confident you would feel!
No so called scholar in college will be able to pull the wool over your eyes about archeology standing against scripture as I was told, we will have studied the subject in depth here and now!
Well, I also think it would be so cool- kind of an Indiana Jones thing- but future scholars for the Lord!
Well, what do you think? Do I break out the Cuneiform?
Can you tell I'm excited and a little nervous- this could be an grand adventure!
